Market Sessions & Liquidity 🌍
The forex market is open 24 hours a day during the trading week. But not every hour is equally active. Some sessions are fast and liquid, while others are slower and choppier.
Often active for JPY, AUD, and NZD pairs.
One of the most active sessions in forex.
Often active for USD pairs and gold.
Why Sessions Matter
Forex is open 24 hours a day from Monday to Friday.
But that does not mean price moves the same way all day.
Some times have more banks, institutions, and traders active.
Other times are slower, with less movement and less liquidity.
Simple idea:
Sessions help you understand when a pair is more likely to move cleanly, slowly, or aggressively.
A beginner should not trade randomly.
You should learn when your favourite pairs are most active.
What Are Market Sessions?
Forex activity is usually grouped into major sessions.
Asian Session
The first major session of the trading day.
London Session

New York Session

A beginner should not chase candles just because the market is moving fast.
You need structure, patience, and risk control.
