Confluence Support & Resistance Zones Indicator
This free MetaTrader 5 indicator helps traders identify stronger support and resistance zones by looking for confluence between the current chart timeframe and a higher timeframe. Instead of drawing every possible level, it focuses on zones where lower-timeframe and higher-timeframe structure overlap.
What this tool does
The indicator scans the market for support and resistance zones where the current timeframe and higher timeframe overlap. These areas are treated as confluence zones because more than one timeframe is pointing to the same price area.
Candle-close logic
The tool only checks respect and violation after a candle has closed. This helps reduce false reactions caused by live candle movement. A wick through a zone does not automatically break the zone.
Timeframe mapping
The higher timeframe is selected automatically based on the chart timeframe you are using.
| Current timeframe | Higher timeframe |
|---|---|
| M1 | M15 |
| M5 | M30 |
| M15 | H1 |
| M30 | H4 |
| H1 | D1 |
| H4 | W1 |
| D1 | MN1 |

Zone strength system
When a zone is first created, it appears in a lighter shade. As price respects the zone, the zone becomes darker. This gives you a quick visual way to see which zones have been respected more often.
If price closes beyond the zone, the indicator stops extending the zone at the candle that violated it. This helps keep your chart cleaner and prevents broken zones from looking active.
